To
enter Malaysia, visitors must have a national passport or other
internationally recognized travel documents with a validity period
of at least six months beyond the length of stay in Malaysia. All
passports and travel documents must be endorsed for travelling in
Malaysia.
Most visitors, either on business or pleasure trips, do not require
visas to enter Malaysia but this really depends on how long you will

Airport
Kuala
Lumpur International Airport commonly known as KLIA is one of
Southeast Asia's major aviation hubs. It is also Malaysia's main
international airport. It is situated in the
Sepang district, in the south of the
state of Selangor. Kuala Lumpur
International Airport is capable of handling 35 million passengers and
is ranked as the 13th busiest airport
in the world by international passenger traffic.

Taxis and Limousines
Airport taxis or airport limousines are provided by Airport Limo. The
taxis and limousines are readily available at the Taxi and Limousines
counters . They run from airport itself to destinations in Klang Valley
and Greater Klang Valley. The fares are to be paid at the counter and
are charged according to the destinations' zone. A surcharge is applied
for services between 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Kuala

KLCC refers to the commercial centre located in the heart of the
city that includes the Petronas Twin Towers, the Suria KLCC
Shopping Mall, a park, a 5-star hotel and prime office blocks.

the areas around it are some of the main destinations for
shopping, clubbing and business for both locals and

China Town (Petaling Street)
Also known as 'Chee Cheong Kai', which means 'Starch Factory
Street', a homage to its roots as a tapioca producing suburb.
Today, it is Kuala Lumpur's own Chinatown where you can find all
things Chinese from herbs to dry goods and toys to clothes. The
entire street is closed to traffic during the afternoons as
traders set up stalls to peddle various merchandise, food and
electronics |

The latest Federal Territory in Malaysia, Putrajaya is a
sprawling city with scenic landmarks and excellent recreational
facilities

The
Batu Caves is located north of
Kuala Lumpur city and is actually part of Selangor state. The
large limestone hill is shaped like one big mound, where the
middle part holds the main cavern with 272 steps leading up to
its entrance. Predominantly a religious site of worship for
Hindus, the main cave has a few altars and statues |

The Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest temples in Southeast
Asia, sitting on top of a hill next to the Taman Seputeh. It is
also an ornately decorated temple which has spectacular designs
across its roofs, complete with murals on its walls. The temple
is also popular as a wedding venue, especially for the Chinese
who frequent the place in the thousands during certain
festivals. |
